Recipe #3: Gnocchetti Sardi with Bongiovi "Dad's Original" sauce
Gnochetti di Sardegna Demiurgo with extra garlic, chilli, parsley and goat cheese.
- 1 jar of Bongiovi "Dad’s Original" Sauce
- 2-3 servings of Gnocchetti Sardi
- 2 shallots
- 1 celery stalk
- 1-2 cloves of garlic
- 1 half hot chili pepper
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 150 ml red wine
- 1/2 bundle of parsley
- Goat cream cheese
- Several basil sprouts
Cook gnocchetti sardi al dente in salted water. Cut the shallots into cubes and fry until semitransparent in a pan with olive oil. Chop the garlic cloves and chili pepper, then add.
Pour in tomato paste and “Dad's Original” sauce. Boil for 2-3 minutes, then add halved celery stalks. Extinguish with red wine. Allow to simmer on a low flame, then add 100ml of pasta water and season with pepper (add salt later, if needed, as the goat cream cheese is usually salty).
Mix finished gnocchetti in a pan with chopped parsley.
Arrange the finished dish on plates. Add fresh goat cheese flakes, parmesan and finely chopped basil, then drizzle a little olive oil over.
