Great Grandmothers Rezepte #3: Gnocchetti Sardi mit Bongiovi «Dad's Original» Sauce

Gnochetti di Sardegna Demiurgo with extra garlic, chilli, parsley and goat cheese.

 

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 jar of Bongiovi "Dad’s Original" Sauce
  • 2-3 servings of Gnocchetti Sardi
  • 2 shallots
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 half hot chili pepper
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 150 ml red wine
  • 1/2 bundle of parsley
  • Goat cream cheese
  • Parmesan
  • Several basil sprouts

PREPARATION:

Cook gnocchetti sardi al dente in salted water. Cut the shallots into cubes and fry until semitransparent in a pan with olive oil. Chop the garlic cloves and chili pepper, then add.

Pour in tomato paste and “Dad's Original” sauce. Boil for 2-3 minutes, then add halved celery stalks. Extinguish with red wine. Allow to simmer on a low flame, then add 100ml of pasta water and season with pepper (add salt later, if needed, as the goat cream cheese is usually salty).

Mix finished gnocchetti in a pan with chopped parsley.

Arrange the finished dish on plates. Add fresh goat cheese flakes, parmesan and finely chopped basil, then drizzle a little olive oil over.
