Swordfish alla Nonna «Marinara» summer recipe
Just the right thing on hot summer days and practically fresh from "Nonna's" kitchen.
1 glass of Bongiovi Brand Marinara Sauce
4 letters of swordfish, each approx. 200 gr.
1 bunch parsley
Olive oil as needed
1 red onion
1 garlic tine
1 sprig of basil
Cut the onion into fine strips, heat some olive oil in the pan. Fry the onion well until translucent. Gradually add the Bongiovi Brand Marinara Sauce while stirring and then add the basil. Place the lid halfway on the pan and let everything simmer for about 1 hour on a low heat.
Meanwhile, prepare the fish.
Preheat the oven to medium heat at 160°C (fan oven).
Season the fish with salt, pepper, olive oil, pressed garlic and parsley.
Fry the fish in the frying pan over a high heat until white. Then place on a prepared baking sheet and leave in the oven for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, take the fish out of the oven, let it cool down a bit and drizzle with the lemons. Then arrange on plates and arrange with the cooked sauce with 2 spoons each over the fish.
To go with: rice, salad or baguette
